Viewing the Booking Invoice from the Booking Profile
The system allows you to view the invoice linked to a booking directly from within the booking details page without navigating to the Sales module.
Before You Begin
- Make sure you have the permission to view bookings and the permission to view invoices in your role.
- The invoice tab only appears after the booking has been converted to an invoice — if it has not been converted yet the tab will not appear.
Steps to View the Invoice from within the Booking
- From the main menu click “Bookings“.
- Open the required booking from the list.
- Click the “Invoice” tab in the tab bar at the top of the booking details page — the invoice number and its payment status appear directly in the tab name, for example: Invoice #00001 (Unpaid).
- A full preview of the invoice appears within the page.
How the System Works
The invoice is displayed as an embedded preview within the booking page without leaving the screen. The tab name shows the invoice number and its current payment status (Unpaid, Partially Paid, Paid) and updates automatically when the payment status changes. To navigate to the full invoice page click the “View Invoice” button in the action bar at the top of the page.
Notes
- The invoice tab is the default active tab when opening a booking that has been converted to an invoice.
- If the booking has not yet been converted to an invoice it can be converted from the action bar at the top of the page.
