Sending a Booking to the Client via SMS
The system allows you to send booking details to the client via a text message directly from the booking details page.
Before You Begin
- Make sure you have the permission to view bookings in your role.
- Make sure a valid mobile number is entered in the client’s profile before sending.
- Make sure the SMS service provider integration is configured in your account.
Steps to Send the Booking via SMS
- From the main menu click “Bookings.
- Open the required booking from the list.
- Click the “Send SMS” button in the action bar at the top of the booking details page.
How the System Works
The text message is sent immediately to the client’s registered phone number in the system. SMS credit is deducted from your account based on the number of messages sent. The send action is recorded in the activity log and also logged in the SMS Logs report.
Notes
- If the client has no registered phone number the SMS send option will not appear.
- A full log of all sent SMS messages can be viewed under Reports → SMS Campaigns.
- The booking can also be sent via email by clicking the Send to Client button in the same action bar.
