Quotations List

The system displays all quotations related to construction on a single screen, letting you search and filter using two modes (simple and advanced), and take action on each quotation from its own actions menu. This guide explains the required permissions, how to access the screen, the header contents, the filters available in both modes, and the quotation list columns.

Permissions

The user must have the “View All Quotations” permission or the “View His Own (Created) Quotations” permission to be able to view the list.

How to Access the Screen

From the side menu, click on “Construction“, then click on “Quotations“.

Header

The top of the screen shows a “Create Quotation” button for creating a new quotation, alongside pagination controls that display the total number of results, with the ability to navigate between pages.

There are no bulk actions available for quotations.

Search and Filtering

The “Search and Filter” box has two modes you can switch between: Simple and Advanced.

  • Simple Mode: This mode displays three filters:
    • Client: a dropdown that lets you search by client name, code, mobile number, or email.
    • Status: a dropdown showing the quotation status.
    • Search by Quotation No.: a search field whose results appear in a dropdown as you type; selecting a record from it takes you directly to its view screen.
  • Advanced Mode: In addition to the three filters above, advanced mode adds:
    • Cost Sheet: a dropdown searchable by sheet number, showing only quotations linked to the selected cost sheet.
    • Sending Status: a dropdown showing the quotation’s sending status.
    • Bid: an independent dropdown searchable by bid name or code.
    • Project: an independent dropdown searchable by project name or code.

In both modes, after setting the required filters, click “Search” to display the results, or click “Clear All” to reset all filters to their default state.

Quotations List

  • Quotation No.: shows the quotation number (code). If the quotation is linked to a cost sheet, the cost sheet code appears below the number as a hyperlink to its view screen.
  • Client: shows the client’s photo, name, and code. If the client has no photo, a placeholder appears.
  • Linked to: shows the name and code of the project or bid linked to the quotation, if any. If the quotation is linked to both a project and a bid, the project information is shown. If there is no link, a dash (“—”) appears.
  • Price: shows the total price of the quotation.
  • Created by: shows the creator’s photo, name, and creation date. If the creator has no photo, a placeholder appears.
  • Status: shows the quotation status inside a colored badge.
  • At the end of each row, a “…” button lets you perform the available actions on the quotation (View, Edit, Delete). A “Sort” button also appears in this column’s header, letting you sort the quotations list by:
    • Quotation No.
    • Status
