Why Does the Project Number Appear in Draft Format?

When you save the project using “Save as Draft” instead of the regular “Save” button, the System does not generate a regular sequential project number. Instead, it uses the project’s internal database ID in the format “[ID]-Draft” (for example, “42-Draft”).

Once you save the project in its final state (not as a draft), the project receives its actual sequential number instead of this format.
