Workflow Default Data

What are the default Data of a Workflow?

When adding a new “Workflow Type” for car contracts, for instance, you can add custom fields to control the type of data required for each new file, meaning for every car contract. You can also rely on the default data you find without any setup if you add a file within the workflow type.

In this topic, we’ll explore these default data.

Default Data of a Workflow Type

  • Title: The name of the file you want within the workflow type.
  • Order Number: A number or code that distinguishes the file (order) inside the workflow type and is sequentially set automatically. It can be modified or its sequencing method can be changed through the Auto Numbering Settings within the account.
  • Start Date: The start date of the order.
  • End Date: The end date of the order.
  • Client: Choose a client from the list if the order is associated with a specific client.
  • Assigned Employees: Choose an employee from the list if the order is linked to a specific employee.
  • Budget: Determine the value of the order’s budget indicator within this workflow type.
    • Note: The budget indicator works inside the order file and moves either according to the order’s expenses and costs or according to the invoices of the clients within the order.
  • Tags: Writing keywords about the work order to help with search operations within the program.
  • Attachments: If you want to upload any files related to this order.
  • Click on the “Save” button.
