Manage Reservation Orders Statuses
The “Reservation Order Statuses” page allows you to configure the statuses used to organize and track reservation orders, set the default status automatically assigned to each new reservation order, and define the statuses in which overlapping reservations are permitted.
To access the “Reservation Orders Statuses” page:
- From the main menu, go to “Rental and Unit Management”.
- Click on “Settings”.
- Select the “Order Statuses” tab.
Reservation Order Statuses
- Default Status for Reservation Order: Select the status that will be automatically assigned to new reservation orders upon creation. The options in this field are populated from all statuses entered in the table, whether open or closed.
- Overridable Reservation Statuses: Select the statuses that allow a new reservation order to be created at the same time without causing conflicts or errors. The options in this field are populated from all statuses entered in the table.
Note: These fields are mandatory and must be completed before saving.
- Statuses Table: The table allows you to add, edit, and delete reservation order statuses dynamically. Each row contains the following fields:
- Name: Enter the status name. This field is mandatory and must be unique. If you change the name of a status that is already selected in the Default Status or Statuses in Which Reservations Are Allowed fields, the name will be updated automatically in those fields as well.
- Type: Select the status type: Open or Closed.
- Color: Choose a color to visually distinguish the status. This field is optional, and white is selected by default.
- The table comes pre-populated with four default statuses:
- Confirmed
- Pending
- Cancelled
- Finished
To add a new status, click the “Add“ button at the bottom of the table. You can reorder statuses by dragging and dropping rows. To delete a status, click the delete icon at the end of the row.
Note: A status that is selected as the default status for reservation orders or as one of the statuses in which reservations are allowed cannot be deleted. At least one row must remain in the table at all times.
Once you have finished configuring the statuses, click “Save”. A confirmation message “Settings Updated Successfully” will appear.
