Edit Lease Contract
The system allows you to edit lease contract data after creation, with the ability to update all its fields including the unit, client, lease period, installment value, and financial details.
Required Permission: Manage Lease Contracts
Steps to Edit a Lease Contract
- From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
- Click on “Lease Contracts“.
- Open the contract you want to edit.
- Click the “Edit” button.
- Update the required fields.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes, or click “Cancel” to go back without saving.
Editable Fields
The edit form fields match the add form fields and include all lease contract information fields, installment value fields, and the installments table. For details on each field refer to the Add New Lease Contract page.
Add Client on the Fly While Editing a Lease Contract
If the required client does not exist in the system you can add them directly without leaving the edit form:
- Click the “Add” button next to the client field. This button appears only if you have the “Add New Client” permission.
- A popup window opens to enter the new client’s details.
- After the client is saved successfully they are automatically selected in the client field of the lease contract edit form.
Important Notes
- The edit action is recorded in the general activity log and in the contract’s activity log.
- A success message appears after the changes are saved.
