Creating a Quotation from a Cost Sheet and Tracking Its Quotations

You can create a construction quotation directly from the Cost Sheet page with its data ready, track all quotations linked to it from a dedicated tab, and see their operations in the cost sheet’s activity log.

Creating a quotation from a cost sheet

  1. From the main menu, choose Construction, then Cost Sheets, and open the cost sheet.
  2. Click Create Construction Quotation in the action bar.
  3. The quotation form opens with its data filled in from the cost sheet. Review and edit it if needed, then save.
🛈

Note: The Create Construction Quotation button doesn’t appear for a cost sheet with the Contracted or Rejected status, and it requires permission to add quotations.

Why doesn’t the Construction Quotations tab appear?

Because no quotation is linked to the cost sheet yet, or because you don’t have permission to view quotations.

Can I create more than one quotation from the same cost sheet?

Yes, as long as the cost sheet isn’t Contracted or Rejected. All quotations appear in the tab.
