Deleting a Booking
The system allows you to delete bookings you no longer need from the booking details page or directly from the bookings list.
Before You Begin
- Make sure you have the permission to delete bookings in your role. Two permissions are available: “Edit / Delete All Bookings” allows you to delete any booking in the system, and “Edit / Delete His Own Bookings” allows you to delete only the bookings you created.
- Make sure the booking you want to delete has no invoices linked to it.
Steps to Delete a Booking
- From the main menu click “Bookings“.
- Click “Manage Bookings“.
- Click on the required booking to navigate to its details page.
- Click the “Delete” button.
- A confirmation message appears — click “Yes” to confirm the deletion.
After a successful deletion a message appears “Booking deleted successfully” and you are redirected automatically to the bookings list.
Notes
- Bookings that have an invoice linked to them cannot be deleted. When attempting to delete such a booking the following message appears: “You cannot delete the booking as there are invoices already related to the booking #Auto Number” — click the auto number in the message to navigate to the booking view page.
- The delete action is recorded in the general activity log.
