• While adding or editing a Work Item Template, after adding a material to the Materials and Services table, click the Unit dropdown for the material, then select Manage Units displayed below the search results. A side panel titled Unit Template opens. Under Unit Source, select Create New Unit Template, then enter the Template Name, Base Unit Name, and Short Name for the new unit template. Add the required conversion factors, if any, using the Add button in the units table, which includes the Unit Name, Factor, and Short Name columns. Finally, click Save to create the unit template or Cancel to close the panel without making any changes.
• After saving, the new unit template becomes the unit template for the material in that row and appears when you open the Unit dropdown again.
