What happens if a printer is disconnected during an order?

The ticket is not lost — when a printer cannot be reached during printing (disconnected, powered off, or out of network range), an error message appears on the POS screen indicating that printing failed, with the option to reprint manually. After resolving the issue (restarting the printer, checking its network or Bluetooth connection), reprint the ticket directly from the app.

A printer failure does not affect the other print routes in the order — parts routed to other connected printers print normally. If the bar printer fails, the kitchen ticket and the invoice still print on time, and only the bar ticket needs to be reprinted once it comes back online.

If the problem recurs with a specific printer, it usually indicates a weak network or Bluetooth signal at its location — try moving it closer to the access point or verifying that its IP address is stable.
