How is the Electronic Invoice enabled in Daftra?

Daftra software supports all the requirements of electronic invoicing in the first phase, which must be mandatorily implemented before December 4, 2021, as announced by the Authority, which are as follows:

  1. Modern Invoicing System:
    • Daftra is a comprehensive cloud-based invoicing software that meets all the requirements of the Zakat and Income Authority. It includes all the mandatory fields for electronic invoices, such as the VAT number for both the supplier and the establishment, and all types of taxes.
  2. QR Code System:
    • The Authority has set the deadline for implementing the QR code that is required in the simplified electronic invoice by December the 4th. Clients of the Daftra software can immediately start embedding the QR Code into their invoice templates by activating the “Electronic Invoice” app from the “Apps Manager” located under the “Settings” menu.
  3. Issuing Invoices in PDF Format:
    • The software provides this feature for all sales and purchase invoices.
