The product is not affected by inventory transactions?

Sometimes, when creating a sales/purchase invoice or inbound/outbound requisitions for a specific product, you may find that the quantity of the product in inventory has not been affected by these transactions. This could be due to one of the following possibilities:

  1. The ‘Track Stock‘ option for this product is not activated. You can activate this option by following these steps:
    1. Inventory > Products and Services > ‘Select the product experiencing the issue’ > Edit > Enable ‘Track Stock.’
  2. Manually entering the product name in the invoice without selecting it from the drop-down list of products.
  3. This item may be categorized as a ‘service‘ rather than a ‘product,’ and in this case, inventory transactions won’t affect it. It must be classified as a ‘product‘ to be impacted by inventory movements.
