Can invoices submitted to tax authorities be deleted?

No, transactions that have been submitted or approved by a tax authority (ZATCA in Saudi Arabia, the Egyptian Tax Authority, or any linked e-invoicing authority) cannot be deleted — either permanently or as a soft delete. Additionally, existing deletion prevention conditions remain in effect: transactions linked to payments, stock entries, or notes are blocked from deletion with the same standard messages.
