Why can’t I delete a printer group?

The system prevents deleting a printer group in the following case:

• The group is linked to a printer: A group that is assigned in any printer’s settings cannot be deleted — a message appears showing the name of the linked printer. Navigate to that printer’s settings, remove the group from it first, then try deleting again.

If your goal is to temporarily stop print routing to a specific group without deleting it, you can instead just remove it from its printers’ settings — the group remains defined and ready to be re-linked later.
