What are the Construction module’s permissions and how are they configured?

The Construction module’s permissions are configured from the Employee Roles page. Go to “Employees,” then “Manage Employee Roles,” and click “Edit” on the required role. A page opens containing all the apps and permission groups, including the “Construction” section, which contains 47 permissions, divided by document type.

• Bids: Add Bids, View All Bids, View His Own (Created) Bids, Edit & Delete All Bids, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Bids.
• Projects: Add Projects, View All Projects, View His Own (Created) Projects, Edit & Delete All Projects, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Projects.
• Cost Sheets: Add Cost Sheets, View All Cost Sheets, View His Own (Created) Cost Sheets, Edit & Delete All Cost Sheets, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Cost Sheets, Approve & Reject Cost Sheets.
• Quotations (Construction Quotations): Add Quotations, View All Quotations, View His Own (Created) Quotations, Edit & Delete All Quotations, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Quotations, Approve & Reject Quotations.
• Construction Contracts: Add Construction Contracts, View All Construction Contracts, View His Own (Created) Construction Contracts, Edit & Delete All Construction Contracts, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Construction Contracts, Approve & Reject Construction Contracts.
• Payment Certificates: Add Payment Certificates, View All Payment Certificates, View His Own (Created) Payment Certificates, Edit & Delete All Payment Certificates, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Payment Certificates, Approve & Reject Payment Certificates, Invoice Payment Certificates.
• Work Item Templates: Add Work Item Templates, View All Work Item Templates, View His Own (Created) Work Item Templates, Edit & Delete All Work Item Templates, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Work Item Templates.
• Reverse Certificates: Add New Reverse Certificate, View All Reverse Certificates, View His Own (Created) Reverse Certificates, Edit & Delete All Reverse Certificates, Edit & Delete His Own (Created) Reverse Certificates.

In addition, there are two standalone permissions: “Exceed Contract Quantity in Payment Certificate,” and “Manage Construction Settings” to configure the module’s own settings.

Enable only the permissions the role needs from this list, then click “Save” at the top of the page.
