Clone Offer

This feature allows you to clone an existing offer with all its settings to quickly create a similar promotional offer without having to manually re-enter all its details from scratch.

Before You Start

• Make sure the Offers app is enabled by navigating to Settings from the main menu, then clicking Apps Manager.

Steps

You can access the Clone Offer action in two ways:

Method 1: From the Offers List screen

1. From the main menu, click Sales.
2. Select Sales Settings, then Offers.
3. Click the Actions icon next to the desired offer, then select Clone.

Method 2: From the Offer Details screen

1. From the main menu, click Sales.
2. Select Sales Settings, then Offers.
3. Click the desired offer from the list.
4. From the action bar, click the Clone button.

• After selecting Clone, the Add Offer screen opens, pre-populated with all the original offer’s data, which remains editable before saving.
• Click Save after reviewing the data.

How the System Works

• All data from the original offer is copied to the new offer, including: offer name, description, offer type, item selection settings, excluded items, discount settings, quantity tiers, spending tiers, Buy One Get One settings, client selection, validity dates, and active status.
• The Offer Code is not copied from the original offer. A new code is automatically generated for the cloned offer according to the Offer Code numbering settings configured in the system.
• No suffix (such as “(Copy)”) is automatically added to the cloned offer name. The new offer name remains identical to the original offer name.
• The cloned offer opens in editable mode before saving, and you can modify any of the copied values before saving the new offer.
• When saved, a completely new offer record is created, while the original offer remains unchanged.
• The following are not copied to the new offer: activity logs, invoices associated with the original offer, or the original offer’s historical usage data.
• The cloning process supports all available offer types and correctly preserves the dynamic configuration structure for each type.

Validation Rules

• The same validation rules applied when adding a new offer are applied to the cloned offer before saving.
• When cloning is successful, the following message appears: “Offer has been saved successfully.”
