Add a New Offer and Configure Its Basic Details

This screen allows you to create a new promotional offer and configure its basic details, such as its code, name, validity period, and targeted clients, in addition to selecting the offer type and configuring the rules specific to each type.

Before You Start

• First, make sure the Offers app is activated through Apps Manager by navigating to Settings from the main menu.

Steps

• From the main menu, click Sales.
• Select Sales Settings.
• Click the Offers card.
• Click the Add Offer button.

Configure Offer Details

• After opening the Add Offer screen, enter the basic offer details:
  • Offer Code (Required): Automatically generated when the screen opens using the next available code. You can edit it manually before saving; it must be unique within your account.
  • Name (Required).
  • Description (Optional): Multi-line text.
  • Valid from (Required): The date when the offer becomes valid.
  • Valid to (Required): The date when the offer expires; it cannot be earlier than the Valid from date.
  • Client Category (Optional): This field displays the client categories previously defined in the Client Categories list.
  • Clients (Optional): A multi-select list for selecting specific clients.
  • Status (Required): A selection between Active and Inactive; Active is selected by default.
• After entering the offer details, enter the offer details as follows:
  • Offer Type (Required): Select one of the available types:
    • Discount on Item
    • Buy N Get Discount on Next Cheapest Item
    • Buy One Get One / Mix & Match
    • Quantity-Based Discount
    • Tiered Spending Discount
    • New Customer Welcome Offer
    • Free Delivery Service

• Click Save to create the offer.

How the System Works

• Discount Type (Required): A percentage discount or a fixed amount.
• Discount Amount (Required): Must be greater than zero; a percentage discount cannot exceed 100.
• You can also click Excluded Items to exclude specific items from the offer, even if they meet the inclusion criteria. Select the Exclude Item Type (Category, Product, or Item Group) and the excluded items themselves.
