What’s the difference between an “Item Discount” and a discount on the entire order?

An Item Discount applies to a single item within the order, using the “Item Discount” button below that item.

A discount on the entire order applies to the order’s total, using the “Discount” field at the bottom of the order panel, and supports either a percentage (%) or a fixed amount ($).
