What happens to a deleted transaction’s number? Can it be used for a new transaction?

The sequential number of a deleted transaction is not automatically reused for new transactions. If numbering is set to “Unique,” it cannot be entered manually either — the number is reserved for the deleted transaction. When it is restored, it returns with its original number. Cloning a transaction always creates a new transaction with a new number.
