What is the contribution percentage, and how does it work?
The contribution percentage in tiered commission rules defines how much of each invoice counts toward target achievement — it is not the commission rate.
- Example: An invoice worth 1,000 with a 50% contribution percentage — only 500 is added toward the sales period target achievement.
- When more than one item line is defined with different contribution percentages, the system sums the contributions from all lines.
- The default value is 100%, meaning the full value of qualifying items counts toward the target.
