Viewing Commission Rule Details

The Commission Rule details screen displays the complete rule configuration in read-only mode, allowing you to review the rule information, assigned entities, and commission calculation method.

Steps to View Commission Rule Details

  1. Click on the “Targeted Sales & Commissions” menu.
  2. Click on “Commission Rules.”
  3. Click on the rule name from the list, or from the actions menu (⋮) click “View.”
  4. The screen displays the rule details in the following sections:
    • Commission Information: Name, status, time period, currency, commission calculation basis, and notes.
    • Target Information: Target type (Amount / Quantity) and its value.
    • Rule Type: The commission calculation method (Tiered Commission / Fixed Commission).
    • Configuration details based on the rule type:
      • For Tiered Commission: The items table with contribution percentages, commission type and calculation type, and the commission tiers table (target achievement percentage and corresponding commission).
      • For Fixed Commission: The items table with the commission value and its type (Percentage % / Fixed Amount) for each line.
    • Assigned Employees: A summary of the entities assigned to the rule as defined (e.g., Sales Department + 2 Employees).
  5. From the view screen you can perform two actions: “Edit” to navigate to the edit screen, or “Delete” to delete the rule.

How the System Works

  • The screen displays all fields in read-only mode with no direct editing capability.
  • The assignment section displays entities exactly as they were defined at creation (departments, roles, branches, employees) without expanding them into a list of individual employee names.
  • Entities that became inactive after the rule was created remain visible in the assignment but are ignored in calculations.
