Deactivating a Pricing Rule

The system allows you to deactivate an active pricing rule to prevent it from being selected when creating new unit types and seasonal prices without having to delete it from the system.

Steps to Deactivate a Pricing Rule

1. From the main menu click “Rental and Unit Management“.
2. Click “Rental Pricing Rules“.
3. Find the required pricing rule from the list.
4. Open the pricing rule and click the “Deactivate” button.

How the System Works

• The pricing rule status changes to Inactive immediately and is updated in both the list and the view page.
• The pricing rule will no longer appear in the selection dropdown when adding a new rental unit type or a new seasonal price.
• The deactivation action is recorded in the general activity log and in the pricing rule’s own activity log.

Validation Rules

• Deactivating a pricing rule does not affect unit types, seasonal prices, or reservation orders that were previously linked to it.
