Navigating Between Bookings and POS from the Booking Calendar

The system allows you to navigate seamlessly between the booking calendar interface and the point of sale to complete booking-related sales and access booking details from both sides.

Navigating from Bookings to POS

From within the booking calendar interface you can navigate to the point of sale directly:

  1. Open the booking calendar from “Manage Bookings“.
  2. Click the session details icon.
  3. The system navigates to the point of sale screen.
  • If there is no active POS session for the logged-in employee the system redirects automatically to the “Start New Session” screen — after starting the session the system navigates to the point of sale with no items added.
  • If there is already an active session the system navigates directly to the point of sale with no items added.

Navigating from POS to Bookings

From within the point of sale you can navigate to the related booking details directly:

  1. Open the point of sale screen.
  2. Click the “View Booking” icon.
  3. The system navigates to the booking view page in the booking calendar.

Notes

  • The “View Booking” button appears in the point of sale only when the Bookings (Calendar) module is active on the account.
  • No items are added automatically when navigating to the point of sale from a booking — the session starts empty.
