Why Do I Get an Error When Saving an Excise Product with a Standard Tax?
The system validates the consistency between product classification and the selected tax when saving.
If the Is Excised Product option is enabled for the product, but a non-excise (standard) tax is selected, the system will block saving and display the following message:
“An excise tax must be selected for a product subject to Excise Tax.”
To resolve the issue, change the tax to an excise tax and make sure it is linked to the Excise (T) code in the UAE E-Invoicing settings.
