Why can’t the project’s title be edited?

The “Project Title” field can’t be edited if the project is already linked to any of the following entities:

• A cost sheet
• A quotation
• A contract

In this case, the title field becomes permanently disabled for editing, since the title is used to name the cost center automatically created for the project, and the existence of financial or operational records already linked to it prevents changing it, to ensure consistency of numbers and reports between the project, its cost center, and its linked records.

Note: the same restriction also applies to the “Client” field — it can only be edited if the project has no cost sheet, quotation, or contract linked to it.
