What’s the difference between “Draft” status and “Issued” status?

“Draft”:

  • Used to save the project preliminarily without committing to its final data, so you can return to it later and complete it.
  • When saved as a draft, the project gets an automatic number in the format “#{ID}-Draft”, where the ID is the record’s internal system number — not the usual final sequential numbering.
  • The “Save as Draft” button appears within the header of the project creation form to perform this action.

“Issued”:

  • Used to save the project in its final, active form in the system.
  • The “Save” button appears to perform this action, and upon saving, the project gets its regular automatic sequential number (not in the draft format).
