Deactivate Rental Unit

The system allows you to deactivate an active rental unit to prevent new reservation orders from being created against it, without having to delete it from the system.

Steps to Deactivate a Rental Unit

• From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
• Click on “Units“.
• Search for the desired rental unit in the list.
• Open the rental unit view page.
• Click the “Deactivate” button.

How the System Works

• The rental unit status changes to Inactive immediately and is updated in both the list and the view page.
• The rental unit will no longer appear in the selection list when creating a new reservation order.
• The deactivation is recorded in the general activity log and in the unit’s own activity log.

Validation Rules

• Deactivating a rental unit does not affect any reservation orders that were previously linked to it.
• If all rental units are inactive, the user will not be able to create a new manual reservation order.
