Add a Pricing Rule While Creating a Unit Type

The system allows you to add a new pricing rule directly while creating a rental unit type without leaving the form, saving you time and streamlining your workflow.

Steps to Add a Pricing Rule While Creating a Rental Unit Type

• From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
• Click on “Settings“.
• Click on the “Unit Types” card.
• Click the “Add Unit Type” button.
• In the Pricing Rule field, click the “Add Rule” button.
• The add pricing rule window will open. Note that:
  • The Status field will be pre-set to “Active” and disabled from editing.
• Enter the required pricing rule data and click “Save“.
• The window will close automatically and the new pricing rule will be automatically selected in the Pricing Rule field.

Important Notes

• All data you entered in the unit type form before opening the window will be retained and will not be cleared.
• The new pricing rule is added to the system and appears in the pricing rules list after it is saved.
• The pricing method of the new pricing rule must match the pricing method selected in the unit type, otherwise an error message will appear on save.
