Delete Pricing Rule

The system allows you to delete unassigned or unused pricing rules from the system.

Steps to Delete a Pricing Rule

• From the main menu, click on “Rental and Unit Management“.
• Click on “Rental Pricing Rules“.
• Search for the desired pricing rule in the list.
• Click the delete icon in the actions next to it, or open it and click the “Delete” button from the view page.
• Confirm the deletion.

How the System Works on Delete

• The pricing rule is permanently deleted from the system.
• The system automatically redirects to the pricing rules list.
• The deletion is recorded in the general activity log.

Validation Rules

• A pricing rule cannot be deleted if it is linked to a rental unit type. The following message will appear: “You cannot delete the pricing rule as it has already been assigned to a unit type”, along with the unit type name and ID as a clickable link to navigate to its view page.
• A pricing rule cannot be deleted if it is linked to a seasonal price. The following message will appear: “You cannot delete the pricing rule as it has already been assigned to a seasonal price”, along with the seasonal price name and ID as a clickable link to navigate to its view page.
