Viewing the Attendance Logs List

The Attendance Logs page displays all recorded check-in and check-out entries for employees, with options to search, filter, and trigger attendance calculation directly from the list.

Accessing the Page

From the main menu, click “Attendance”, then click “Attendance Logs”.

List Columns

The list displays the following columns for each log entry:

  • Employee: The employee’s name and ID number.
  • Source: The device or source from which the attendance was recorded.
  • Session ID: The ID of the attendance session associated with this log.
  • Self Check-in: The date and time the entry was recorded.
  • Status: The current status of the log, which may be: Sign In, Sign Out, Repeated Sign In, Repeated Sign Out, Invalid, Not Calculated, or Unknown Employee.

Search and Filter Options

Basic Search:

  • Employee: Search by name, code, email, department, branch, or country.
  • Status: Filter by log status.
  • From / To: Date range filter.
  • Source Type: Machine, Self, Supervisor, or File.

Advanced Search (via the “Advanced Search” button):

  • Department: Filter by the employee’s department.

Sorting

The list can be sorted by Date and Time in ascending order. The default sort order is ID descending.

Per-Row Actions

Clicking ··· next to any log entry reveals the following options:

  • View: Opens the log details page.
  • Delete: Deletes the log after a confirmation prompt.
  • Calculate / Recalculate: Visible only to users with the “Calculate Attendance Day” permission, and only when the associated attendance day is not included in an approved attendance sheet. Triggers the standard attendance calculation logic for the employee and day linked to this log.
    • If the log status is “Not Calculated”, the option is labeled “Calculate”.
    • For any other status, it is labeled “Recalculate”.

When the calculation is triggered, a loading indicator is displayed during processing. Upon completion, a success message appears: “Attendance log calculated successfully.” The action is automatically recorded in the activity log of the associated attendance day.
