Why can’t an see the “Shifts” menu?

The reason is that the employee does not have any shifts-related permissions. In the system, visibility of the “Shifts” menu is entirely controlled by dedicated permissions under the “Shifts Permissions” group within the “Employee Attendance” section. If none of the following permissions are enabled, the menu will not appear for that user at all:

  • Manage Shifts: Full access to create, edit, and delete shifts.
  • View My Shifts: View personal shifts only.
  • View All Shifts: View all employees’ shifts without editing access.
  • View My Team Shifts: View subordinates’ shifts in the organizational structure without editing.
  • Manage My Team Shifts: Manage and edit team shifts.

To grant the employee access, go to “Settings”, then “Users & Permissions”, and enable the appropriate permission for their role. Permissions take effect immediately after saving — no logout is required.
