Actions on Contracts

To create a contract, convert it to a draft for storage without activation, or to copy, suspend, or cancel it, you can follow these steps:

  1. From the main menu, click on “Payroll“.
  2. Choose “Contracts“.
  3. A list of all existing contracts will appear. Look for the contract you want to take action on and click on it to open it.
  4. Once the contract is open, you will find options like “Draft“, “Supersede“, “Suspend“, or “Cancel“. Choose the action you want to execute.
  5. After taking the desired action, save the changes if required.

This way, you can create drafts for contracts and keep them without activating them, supersede contracts, or suspend and cancel them as needed.

How to take Actions on Contracts

  1. From the home page, click on “Payroll“.
  2. Click on “Contracts“.
  3. Select the contract on which you want to perform actions.
  4. At the top of the contract details, click on “Actions“.
  5. The system will display a dropdown menu to choose specific actions to perform, as follows:
    • Draft: Change the contract status to draft if the contract requires further modifications.
      • If the contract is already in the “Draft” state, you can click “Activate” to activate the contract.
    • Supersede: Create a copy of the contract for further edits in a separate version while retaining the original contract.
    • Terminate: Click to terminate the contract. When terminating, the system will prompt you to enter the termination date and reason, then click “Save“.
    • Renew: Click to renew the contract.
    • Cancel: Click to cancel the contract. When canceling, the system will prompt you to enter the cancellation date and reason, then click “Save“.
