Blocked Pages of an Employee Role

The software allows you to block access to specific pages within a procedure that has been allowed in the employee role, through the “Blocked Pages” option.

For instance: If you wish to grant the role “Employees” access to “View Clients” but you don’t want the employees assigned to this role to access a specific page within “View Clients“, let’s say the “Transaction List” of the client.

To block a specific page, copy the link of that page, for example: “owner/clients/view/1#TransactionList“, and paste it into the dialogue box for blocked pages. Consequently, employees assigned to this role won’t be able to access the “Transaction List” page of the client even though it’s within the “View Clients” procedure they are allowed to access.

Steps to block a Page from an Employee Role

  1. From the main menu, click on “Employees“.
  2. Click on “Manage Employee Roles“.
  3. Click on the “Blocked Pages” button next to the employee role you want to block specific pages for.
  4. Copy the link of the page you want to block for the employee role and paste it into the dialogue box for blocked pages.
    • You can block multiple pages for the employee role by placing the link of each page on a separate line.
  5. Click on “Submit” below the dialogue box.
