What is the difference between “Calculate” and “Recalculate” in attendance logs?

The difference is based solely on the log’s current status — the logic executed in both cases is exactly the same.

The “Calculate” button appears when the log status is “Not Calculated”, meaning the attendance data for that day has not been processed yet. The “Recalculate” button appears when the log has any other status — such as Sign In, Sign Out, or Invalid — indicating that the data was previously processed and you are requesting it to be updated again.

In both cases, the system runs the same standard calculation logic for the employee and day associated with the log.
