View My Tasks

This screen enables employees to view a centralized list of all tasks assigned to them, allowing them to track their progress and open their details to complete the required work.

Before You Start

  • Ensure that the Task Management app is enabled through Apps Manager by navigating to Settings from the main menu.
  • This screen requires the View Own Tasks permission and displays only tasks assigned to the current user.

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Task Management.
  2. Click Tasks.
  3. The screen displays two tabs above the table: My Tasks and All. Select My Tasks to display only the tasks assigned to you.
    • The screen displays a table with the following columns: Task – Task Code, Type, Priority, Due Date, Status, and Actions.
    • To search and filter, use the fields above the table:
      • Search (text field): Searches by task title or task code.
      • Priority (drop-down list): Filters by task priority.
      • Status (drop-down list): Filters by task status.
      • Type (drop-down list): Filters by task type.
      • Target Module (drop-down list): Filters by the module linked to the task.
  4. Click the task title to open its details screen.

How the System Works

  • This screen displays only tasks assigned to the current user, whether they were created manually from the Task Management module or generated automatically through Task Flows.
  • The only action available in the Actions menu on this screen is View, unlike the previously documented general Task List screen, which also allows editing and deleting tasks based on permissions.
  • If no tasks are assigned to the user, the system displays the following message: “You have no tasks assigned.
  • If no results match the applied search and filter criteria, the system displays the following message: “There are no records matching your search criteria.

Validation Rules

  • This screen displays only tasks assigned to the current user.
  • The Actions menu for each task displays only the View option.
