Why Wasn’t I Asked to Approve My Own Leave?
The system automatically skips any approval level in which the request initiator is assigned as the approver, ensuring that employees are not required to approve their own leave requests.
If no approvers remain at a level after excluding the request initiator, the system skips that level and proceeds to the next one. If the request initiator is the only approver across all levels, the leave request is automatically approved by the system.
However, if another approver approves the leave request at any level, their name is recorded in the request activity log.
