Reactivate Employee Asset

This action allows you to return a deactivated employee asset back to operational use if it was deactivated by mistake or needs to be reactivated.

Activation Requirements

  • The user must have permission to edit employee assets.

How to Access

  • From the main menu, go to Employees.
  • Click on Employee Assets.
  • From the list: click Actions (…) next to the desired asset, then select View.
  • From the asset view screen, the Reactivate Asset button appears only if the current status is Inactive.

  • Edit
  • Reactivate Asset
  • Add Note / Attachment
  • Print Templates

Steps to Reactivate an Asset

  • From the asset view screen, click Reactivate Asset.
  • A popup window will appear with the following fields:
    • Date & Time: Specify the date and time of reactivation.
    • Note: Free text field to describe the reactivation — optional.
    • Attachment: Optional.

Supported formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG — maximum size 10 MB.

  • Click Save to apply the action, or Cancel to discard.

Notes

  • Upon confirming reactivation, the new status is automatically updated based on the current custody data.
  • The asset becomes editable again according to standard rules.
  • If the asset is linked to an accounting asset, the new operational status is automatically synchronized with the accounting asset.
  • Added notes and attachments will appear in the Notes & Attachments tab on the asset view screen.
  • The action is recorded in both the Asset Movement Log and the Activity Log, including action details, user, date, and time.
  • The asset view screen is automatically updated with the new status and available actions.
