What if I don’t map some of the fields to the file?

Only the mandatory fields need to be mapped to the columns of the uploaded file before proceeding; the remaining (optional) fields can be left unmapped.

• If you leave any mandatory field unmapped, the message “This is a required field and could not be empty.“ appears, and you cannot proceed until it’s mapped.
• If you leave any optional field unmapped, the import process completes normally, and that field’s value remains empty in the imported records.
