Edit Task Template
Editing a task template allows you to update the data of an existing template and manage its tasks by adding, editing, reordering, or deleting them, to keep the template aligned with any changes in task flows. This article explains the steps to edit an existing task template.
Before You Begin

- Click “Task Templates”.
- Go to the actions menu for the template you want to edit, then click “Edit”.
- The “Edit Task Template” screen will appear with the same layout as the Create Task Template screen, with all fields pre-filled with the current information, where you can:

How the System Works
- When the edit screen is opened, the system retrieves all the template’s data and its current tasks and displays them pre-filled in the corresponding fields.
- Once the save is successful, the template’s configuration is updated immediately, and you are automatically redirected to the task templates list screen, which appears updated with the new data.
Validation Rules
- Make sure the Title and Code fields are not left empty; otherwise, the edit will not be accepted.
- Make sure not to delete all the template’s tasks without adding a replacement task, since the template must always contain at least one task in order for the edit to be saved successfully.
