When does “Recalculate” appear instead of “Calculate”?
The “Recalculate” option appears when the attendance log has any status other than “Not Calculated”, such as: Sign In, Sign Out, Repeated Sign In, Repeated Sign Out, Invalid, or Unknown Employee. This means the log has already been processed by the system and you are requesting the result to be updated again.
In contrast, the “Calculate” option appears only when the log status is “Not Calculated”, meaning the system has not yet processed the attendance data for that day.
