Deleting an Allocated Shift
The system allows you to delete an allocated shift to return employees to their original default shift.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the Manage Attendance Settings permission in your assigned role.
Steps to Delete an Allocated Shift
You can delete an allocated shift in two ways:
From the list:
- From the main menu, click on “Attendance”.
- Click on “Allocated Shifts”.
- Click the ··· icon next to the allocated shift you wish to delete.
- Click “Delete”.
- A confirmation message will appear: “Are you sure you want to delete this Allocated Shift?”
- Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion, or click “No” to cancel.
From the view page:
- Open the allocated shift you wish to delete.
- Click the “Delete” button at the top of the page.
- A confirmation message will appear: “Are you sure you want to delete this Allocated Shift?”
- Click “Yes” to confirm the deletion, or click “No” to cancel.
What Happens After Deletion
Once the deletion is completed successfully, the following message appears:
“Allocated Shift deleted successfully.”
You are then automatically redirected to the Allocated Shifts list, which refreshes to reflect the deleted record.
