Viewing an Allocated Shift
The system allows you to view the complete details of an allocated shift, including the period, the assigned shift, the selection criteria, and the activity log.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the Manage Attendance Settings permission in your assigned role.
Steps to View an Allocated Shift
- From the main menu, click on “Attendance”.
- Click on “Allocated Shifts”.
- Click the ··· icon next to the allocated shift you wish to view.
- Click “View”.
Allocated Shift Information
The “Allocated Shift Information” section displays the following:
- Start Date: The date on which the allocated shift takes effect.
- End Date: The date on which the allocated shift expires.
- Assigned Shift: The name of the shift assigned during this period.
Selected Details
The “Selected Details” section displays the criteria applied to the allocated shift, based on the selection method used at the time of creation:
If Rule Selection was used:
- Branch: The branch to which the allocated shift was applied.
- Department: The department to which the allocated shift was applied.
- Designation: The job title to which the allocated shift was applied.
- Shift: The original shift of the employees targeted by the allocated shift.
- Excluded Employees: The employees who were excluded from the allocated shift.
If Employee Selection was used:
- Employee: The name of the employee or employees directly assigned the allocated shift, displayed with each employee’s photo, full name, and ID.
Available Tabs on the View Page
- Details: Displays all allocated shift data as described above.
- Activity Log: Displays all actions performed on the allocated shift, including the date and the user who performed each action. If no actions have taken place, an empty screen is displayed.
Available Actions from the View Page
- Edit: Navigate to the allocated shift edit form.
- Clone: Create a new copy of the allocated shift with the same data.
- Delete: Permanently delete the allocated shift.
