Delete Employee Asset

This action allows you to safely delete incorrect, duplicate, or unused employee assets.

Activation Requirements

  • The user must have permission to delete employee assets.

How to Access

  • From the main menu, go to Employees.
  • Click on Employee Assets.
  • From the list: click Actions (…) next to the desired asset, then select Delete.
  • From the asset view screen: click the Delete button.

Deletion Conditions

Deletion is allowed only if the asset status is:

  • Not Assigned
  • In Storage

Deletion is not allowed if the status is:

  • Assigned
  • Under Maintenance
  • Inactive
  • Sold
  • Consumed
  • Written-off

Deletion Steps

  • Click Delete — a confirmation window will appear based on the asset status:

Case 1: Asset has no linked records

  • Are you sure you want to delete ‘{Asset Name}’ #{Asset Code}?

Case 2: Asset has linked records

  • Are you sure you want to delete ‘{Asset Name}’ #{Asset Code}? All related records will also be deleted.
  • Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
  • After deletion, the system will redirect you to the Employee Assets list.

Notes

  • The asset record is permanently deleted from the system.
  • Any link to a related accounting asset is removed.
  • The deletion action is recorded in the Activity Log.
