Asset Types — Delete Asset Type
This action allows you to remove unused or incorrectly created asset types.
Steps to Delete an Asset Type
- From the Asset Types list or the View screen, click on “Delete.”
- A confirmation window will appear — click “Confirm” to proceed.
- After deletion, the system will automatically return to the list.
Deletion Rules
- An asset type cannot be deleted if it is linked to one or more employee assets.
- In such cases, the system will display an error message and prevent deletion.
