Asset Types — Add New Type
This screen allows you to create asset types that can be used later when adding or editing employee assets.
Steps to Add a New Asset Type
- From the main menu, click on “Employees.”
- Click on “Settings.”
- Open the “Asset Types” tab.
- Click on “Add Asset Type.”
- Enter the Name — Required and must be unique.
- Enter the Description — Optional.
- Check the Status — it is enabled by default.
- Click “Save” to create the record.
- To cancel without saving, click “Cancel” to return to the list.
Notes
- The Name field is mandatory and cannot be duplicated.
- The Status is set to active by default upon creation and can be modified later.
