Adding Notes and Attachments to an Invoice
Daftra software provides you with the ability to add attachments or notes to your invoices, making it easier for you to keep all the invoice-related information in one place.
- Click on “Sales” from the main menu.
- Click on “Manage Invoices”.
- Click on the invoice to which you want to add notes/attachments.
- Click on the “More Options” button at the top of the invoice display window.
- Select “Add Note/Attachment” from the dropdown menu.
- Set the “Date” and “Time” fields by entering the date and time of recording the notes/attachments.
- Select the action performed from the available options in the actions menu.

- You can change the invoice status by changing the option chosen in the “Update Status To” field and selecting the required status from the list.

- To configure invoice statuses, you need to activate “Manual Invoice Statuses” For more details, refer to the “Changing Invoice Status” guide.

- Notes:
- Enter the required notes in the text editor with formatting tools.
- Click on the “Attachments” button to attach a set of files.
- Click on the “Upload” button.
- Select the required files from your device.
- Ensure that the upload progress reaches 100% for each file.
- Click on the “Upload” button.
- Check the “Share With Client” checkbox if you want the client to be able to view the notes and attachments on their own portal of the system.
- Note: For the client to be able to view the attachment, the permission to view notes and attachments on their personal page must be given. For more details, refer to the “Client Permission Settings“ guide.

- Click on the “Save” button once you are done.
