Marking a Printable Template as a Voucher
Daftra provides the functionality of printing a sales invoice using a different template than the original one it was created by, which enables you to print and view the invoice in a customized way in a different template than the original one.
Steps of marking a template as a sales invoice voucher
- Click on “Templates” from the main menu.
- Click on “Printable Templates”.
- Click on “Invoice/Estimate Layouts”.
- Click on the actions button “…” next to the layout you wish to mark as voucher.
- Click on “Mark as Voucher” from the menu.
After you click on “Mark as Voucher” the layout will be set as a voucher which you can use to print sales invoices.
Steps to display invoices using vouchers
- Click on “Sales” from the main menu.
- Click on “Manage Invoices”.
- View the required invoice.
- You will be directed to the invoice display page which gives you a lot of control features and different action options.
- From the available actions, click on “Vouchers”.
- Choose the layout you’ve marked as a voucher so that the invoice will be displayed.
- Note: You can add more vouchers by marking another invoice layout as a voucher. For more details, check the “Invoice/ Estimate Layouts“ guide.
Note: Viewing the vouchers is available when viewing the invoice only, and once you leave the invoice page and go back to it again, it will be displayed using the original layout used to create it.
