Why doesn’t the “Edit” or “Delete” option appear next to a financial period?

Both options are only available for open financial periods — closed periods cannot be edited or deleted in order to preserve the integrity of accounting data. Also make sure that:

• You have the “Manage Closed Periods” permission.
• You are working from the same branch the period was created from, if the Branch feature is enabled.
