What happens if I delete a custody settlement linked to a partially paid invoice?
If the invoice is Partially Paid, you can delete the settlement row. When deleted, the following actions occur automatically:
- The payment recorded on the purchase invoice as a result of this settlement is reversed.
- The journal entry automatically generated when the settlement was made is reversed.
- The invoice status reverts to its status before the settlement.
- The custody’s remaining balance is restored to its value before the settlement.
